Park Road’s worldwide reputation for quality is confirmed by the film laboratory, which was the first in the world to achieve KODAK IMAGECARE accreditation, a standard that is assessed every year to guarantee quality and consistency in film processing and handling.
Park Road offers a full service laboratory of the highest standard with processing of both colour and black and white film, production of dailies, post production and premium release prints. We also offer a range of traditional optical film finishes from basic dissolves to complex titles.
The laboratory is completed with a quality control theatre that offers 16mm and 35mm projection with full surround sound. The 35mm Kinoton projector is a specialised quality control model allowing ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ viewing in a variety of speeds. And there are analysis tools for Dolby Digital, DTS and SDDS soundtracks enabling verification of the integrity of digital soundtracks before prints are completed.
Workflow between the laboratory and the digital intermediate suites is all part of one seamless system.
